The French industrial trio Kill the Thrill, never distinguished by an abundance of news, in the middle of the 2000s was disappeared from sight. Rare posts on Facebook were published in French, and from them it was impossible to understand what was happening in the band. Having sent a request for the opportunity to communicate in the interview, we waited 4 months before the message was read and we received a positive response. Another 8 months were spent on our fault. However, one year after the first attempts, we resumed communication. Our interlocutor was Nicolas Dick, who answered to the retrospective questions covering the entire creative career of the team at the moment, and shared his plans for the future.
If you studying the musical creativity of Wisconsin or interested in the industrial death metal of the United States, it's hard not to pay attention to the Bleed band, which later became known as Crawl. They can be recognized as the closest friends of the cult Dusk, Owners of Requiem Productions and one of the pioneers of this sound. The history of the band ended 20 years ago but two former members Jason DeJardins and Tom Danz, shared their memories about the group, the music industry and the working methods of the bands in the 90s.
Scraps of information, unstable price of the only full-length album release (from 1 to 150 dollars per disk), strange music and the presence of Wayne Knupp in the band made Meatus a kind of cult, long abandoned and unnecessary. Little-known even in narrow circles the collective had no followers, remaining a unique phenomenon of the state scene. A small interview is a tribute to these enthusiasts who turned out to be great people sincerely and thanks us for the interest (even belatedly) to what they did. On communication was Burt Buchanan, guitarist Meatus.
Easy to contact Copremesis guitarist Paolo Paguntalan was open and easy to communicate, who always thanks in the correspondence for the support and listening to the music of his band. As soon as he agreed to the interview, we sent him a number of questions in Russian the purpose of which was to show that the work does not stand still. Having received questions he translated everything himself and answered in one day, perhaps it is such people hold up the underground.
